This is the easiest method to share your custom Sims3 Content. After you have successfully exported your project all you need to do is open the Sims3 Launcher and upload your Home-Made Goodies.

Note:  You must have a legal purchased and registered version of the Sims3 AND an internet connection to have this option available to you.

1.    If you haven’t done so already, open your Sims3 Launcher, and click the ‘Uploads’ button.

2.    Using a left click on your mouse, put a check mark into the radio button of your current project that you desire to share.

3.    Then click on the ‘Upload’ button.

4.    Clicking on the ‘Upload’ button will initiate the uploading process. Allow the Launcher a few moments to complete the process.

5.    When the Launcher successfully uploaded your item, the row identifying that item on the launcher will become faded and have a unique symbol in the status column to indicate it has been uploaded.

Success!!!

If your upload was successful, you will see a symbol in the status column that looks like this. Do a little happy dance to celebrate! Your custom item is on the Sims3 Exchange for all the Sims3 fans to enjoy!

There is no need to make images as the launcher provides images for your uploaded content automatically.

Failure???

If your upload failed, you will see a symbol in the status column that looks like this.

In the case of a failed upload, you can try again. I always do, but in all instances where I have had this occur, I have had to delete the file from the launcher completely, and start the whole process over from the ‘Share’ step in Saving your Project. (Step number 3)

In my case, this has always resolved the issue and met with a successful upload on the second attempt. Make sure you shut the Sims3 down before your run the Sims3 Launcher as this may be a cause of the failed upload.

If doing this does not solve your issue, try checking out the official Sims3 Help site for solutions.
