A Sims3Fanatics Community Tutorial

by Valzgr8

.

Introduction

This tutorial was written to help Sims3 fans share their own customized Objects, Sims, Lots, Patterns, and other custom content on the Sims3 Exchange and/or on personal Sims3 FanPages. Please keep in mind that this tutorial is written for those who have little to no knowledge about the computer. I have illustrated many of the steps in the sharing process to make it easier to learn how to share your stuff with others.

In this fully illustrated and progressive tutorial, I will explain 2 methods that a player can use to save and share his/her home-made stuffs on the internet. There are likely other methods for sharing stuff. This is just my simple way of doing things.

This tutorial assumes you already know how to use the Sims3 Wizards to create your own goodies and because of this, It is not intended to teach a player how to make his/her own custom content. It is only intended to show Simm3rs how to package up their custom content and make it ready to share.

That said…LET’S PLAY!!!

NOTE:

For the purpose of this tutorial, I am using one of my recolored style patterns as an example. I will later show where to click for saving other custom content for those who might need that little extra direction but for now I am working with patterns. Please be aware that the process for saving and sharing other custom content such as objects and Sims will be similar.
